There’s something magical about capturing moments that reflect the love between two people. A couples photoshoot is a wonderful way to celebrate your relationship, create lasting memories, and even announce milestones.
The setting can make a significant impact on your photos. I choose The Merchant in Downtown Raleigh due to the moody, dark and romantic vibe that it gives.
Funny enough The Merchant in Downtown Raleigh was the first date they had actually went to for cocktails before dinner. It was a perfect representation of their relationship especially because they had just decided to move in together that week and was able to secure a place an Wake Forest.
The best photos often come from candid moments. One of my favorites at this shoot at The Merchant was the moment the sun was setting and peaking through the windows and eluminating the setting area. The lightening was magical and I hardly had to edit them because they were just that perfect.
The shoot its self was great because I was able to secure The Merchant before they opened up. Unfortunately in Downtown Raleigh that night the streets were blocked off due to a protest. They were running late but the General manager was kind enough to let us extend our session.
