London
Moving from North Carolina to London has been one of the most exciting, stretching, and creatively refreshing seasons of my life.
When my husband and I packed up our home in North Carolina, we knew we were stepping into something bigger than just a change of address. We were saying yes to new rhythms, new perspectives, and a new chapter for both our marriage and my business.
And London has not disappointed.
From Southern Charm to London Energy
North Carolina will always have my heart. The slower mornings. The warm conversations in coffee shops. The familiarity of community. There’s something incredibly grounding about the South.
London, though? London hums.
It’s layered. Historic and modern at the same time. You can walk past a centuries-old cathedral and then turn the corner into a sleek glass high-rise. The city feels alive in a way that pushes you creatively. It challenges you to see differently.
As a creative and a business owner, that kind of environment is fuel.
Date Night, But Make It a Content Shoot
One of my favorite things we’ve done since moving here was turning a simple night out into an intentional content creation evening.
My husband and I headed into the city — no big production, no elaborate plan. Just us, a camera, and a desire to capture this season.
We wandered through some of the most iconic parts of London, letting the city be our backdrop.
Why This Matters for My Clients
This wasn’t just about pretty photos.
It was about showing potential clients who I am in this season.
Relocating internationally takes courage. It requires adaptability, organization, resilience, and vision — the very qualities I bring to my work. Moving my life and business across the world has sharpened my ability to problem-solve and think strategically.
When clients see these images, they’re not just seeing London.
They’re seeing:
- A business owner who isn’t afraid of bold moves
- A woman building a life she loves
- A partnership rooted in support and shared vision
- A brand that evolves and grows
Marketing isn’t only about services. It’s about story. And story builds connection.
Building an International Presence
Being in London has already expanded how I think about my business. I’m meeting new people. Observing new trends. Having conversations with entrepreneurs from around the world.
There’s something powerful about positioning yourself globally. It stretches your mindset. It elevates your standards. It invites new opportunity.
And honestly? It feels aligned.
North Carolina built the foundation. London is expanding the vision.
Creating While Living
If there’s one thing this move has reinforced, it’s this:
You don’t have to pause your life to build your brand.
And you don’t have to pause your brand to live your life.
Sometimes the most authentic marketing happens when you simply document the season you’re already in.
That night in the city wasn’t a “content strategy session.” It was a date night. It was laughter. It was dreaming about what’s next.
And it just so happened that we brought the camera along.
Here’s to new cities, bold steps, and building a business that grows with you.
London, we’re just getting started.
